Don't step in donkey or elephant crap. It will ruin your shoes.

The elections are upon us! Along with all the legitimate pleas you'll probably receive from your election favorites you can expect the spam and malware mongers to prick your political emotions into motivating that MOUSE CLICK in support, protest, agreement or disagreement with your favorite whomever or whatever. The content may look official. Go ahead, read it, don't click it, then delete it. Your omission to click will not matter on Election Day. Your vote will.

Order-update from Amazon.

Your Amazon order has been cancelled. What order! There are a lot of spam e-mails showing up about your Amazon order being cancelled. It's a great trap. If you had an order you'll want to check and if you didn't order anything you'll be suspicious. It's crap! Just hover (DON'T CLICK) your cursor over the order number and you will see in the browser's status bar that the notice has nothing to do with Amazon. Better yet, just delete it. Have an order pending? Go to Amazon yourself and check the status.

Important Update:
Hovering your cursor over a link will display the true link address. When you hover over the link a small box with an address may appear next to your cursor. This box may NOT contain the true link. The true link will show in the status bar that is located at the bottom of your browser's window.
