Did someone burn some toast?

Umm, excuse me, but did you have a little accident? Oh, that! No, I’ve been using my laptop for a couple hours while sitting on the sofa. I guess I worked up a little sweat. Well, if you have one of those crock pot slow cookers, you may have an idea about where I’m going with this.
It’s called laptop induced Erythema ab igne and is commonly referred to as "Toasted Leg Syndrome." Skin discolorations, in some cases permanent, can occur from the slow and deceivingly painless heat radiating from your laptop. No, I'm not joking. Some cases actually led to severe complications. But it's a laptop! I like using it on my lap. Ok then, at least put something between the laptop and your body. Using your case or a laptop cooler can provide protection from this unnoticed slow cooking. If you want more info just search Google, Yahoo, Bing or your favorite SE for "Erythema ab igne" or "Toasted Leg Syndrome." So, keep your cool and see some laptop coolers recommended on ComputerKarate.com
